Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms supplement our Terms of Service and govern the billing, payment, and subscription aspects of the Kinsman & Co Insights Dashboard. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to these terms.
1. Subscription Plans
We offer the following subscription tiers:

Feature availability is subject to your active plan tier. Downgrading your plan may restrict access to certain features and data. We will notify you before any features become unavailable due to a plan change.
2. Free Trial
- New subscribers to Growth or Enterprise plans receive a 14-day free trial with full access to the plan’s features
- No payment is charged during the trial period. Your payment method will be charged on the first day after the trial ends unless you cancel before that date
- You may cancel your trial at any time via the Settings page or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect immediately and you will not be charged
- Free trials are available once per organisation. Resubscribing after a previous subscription does not qualify for a new trial
- If a trial expires without payment, your account will be downgraded to the Starter plan
3. Billing and Payment
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the billing cycle you select at checkout
- All prices are quoted in GBP and are exclusive of VAT where applicable. VAT will be added at the prevailing rate for UK customers
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your payment card details
- Annual subscriptions are paid in full at the start of the billing year and offer a discounted rate compared to monthly billing
4. Failed Payments and Grace Period
- If a payment fails, we will notify you via email and retry the charge according to Stripe’s automatic retry schedule (typically 3 attempts over 7 days)
- During the grace period while payment is past due, your access to the Service continues without interruption
- If all retry attempts fail, your subscription will be cancelled and your account downgraded to the Starter plan. Your data will be retained for 90 days to allow for reactivation
5. Upgrades and Downgrades
- You may upgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing cycle
- You may downgrade your plan at any time. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You retain access to your current plan’s features until that date
- When downgrading, features not included in the lower plan will become unavailable. Data associated with those features (e.g. creative assets, API keys) will be preserved but inaccessible until you upgrade again
6. Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal (accessible from Settings) or by contacting us
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until that date
- After cancellation, your account reverts to the Starter plan with access to Google Ads and GA4 data only
7. Refunds
- Monthly subscriptions: No refunds are provided for partial months. You retain access until the end of the paid period
- Annual subscriptions: If you cancel within 14 days of an annual renewal, you may request a full refund for that billing cycle. After 14 days, no refunds are provided for the remainder of the annual period

8. Price Changes
We may change our subscription prices from time to time. If we increase prices:
- We will notify you at least 30 days in advance via email
- The new price will apply from your next billing cycle after the notice period
- If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect
- Annual subscribers will not see a price increase until their current annual term expires
9. Data After Cancellation
Upon cancellation or downgrade:
- Your marketing performance data is retained for 90 days after your paid subscription ends, allowing you to reactivate and retain historical data
- After 90 days, data associated with features not available on your current plan may be permanently deleted
- You may request a data export at any time during the retention period by contacting us
10. Fair Use
The following fair-use limits apply to prevent abuse:
- Creative generation: Reasonable usage aligned with the number of active campaigns. We reserve the right to throttle generation if usage significantly exceeds normal patterns
- Public API (Enterprise): Rate-limited to 100 requests per hour per API key
- Data refresh: Platform data is refreshed on the schedule defined for your plan. Manual refresh triggers are subject to rate limiting
